Currently a Chester County Trauma Center Task Force has been formed with volunteers to research the feasibility of establishing a trauma center in the area. Chester County is the most populated county in Pennsylvania without a trauma center! Persons needing trauma service in Chester County would be transported further, taking extra time to get service that could impact the patient’s health.
