West Chester, PA

West Chester PA town in Chester County PA and some photographs

Elfreths Alley, Philadelphia

lfreth’s Alley in Philadelphia is within reach and short trip away from Chester County. It offers some fun history lessons and brags the right to hold the “nation’s oldest residential street” tag line. As you can see, I am a big fan photographing different doorways; each providing it’s own character. You can take an up close and personal look at each house if you visit the Elfreth’s Alley Association Website.

Chester County Parks

It’s not just a Local Expert that knows and experiences the outdoors in the area parks….
You can experience them with me!
All the townships in Chester County have their own flavor of community parks with walking trails, preservation areas, soccer fields (especially full on Saturdays!), tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, etc. There are also beautiful [...]

The Devon Horse Show

Park and Ride Lot in Frazer

Last year, my friend, John Lauber and I went to a real estate conference in Atlantic City together. When we were making arrangements for me to leave my car and hop in his – he suggested the park and ride lot in Frazer.

Honestly, I always forgot it was there. I don’t think there could be a more convenient location for a parking lot to leave your car and carpool with others (or hop on the Septa bus) to get to your destination in a more green-friendly way. [Park and Ride Frazer Great Valley] Located right off of the intersections of Rt. 202, Rt. 30, and Lancaster Ave – it is easily accessible to different directions.

Today, we headed to Philadelphia, for another business meeting – guess where my car stayed?

The Chester County Planning Commission put together a printable brochure on the 202 Guide to Commuter Options for the Great Valley Area.

The Spectrum’s Last Breaths

What memories do you have of the Philadelphia Spectrum? It’s been around since 1967, that doesn’t really seem all that old to me. Maybe because it isn’t a whole lot older than me and I’m thinking I’m not that old, haha. But soon, we will only have memories of the stadium that was the place to see many different venues over the years.

Stop Puppy Mills Awareness Day

Today, Saturday, September 20th, 2008 is Puppy Mill Awareness Day. So be aware. There are dogs and puppies living in and around Chester County, PA that could at the least, use our thoughts today. They live in deplorable conditions and are abused terribly. I wrote a post, Please Help I Have a Heartbeat Too, which [...]

If you are looking at moving to Chester County or thinking about Buying Real Estate in the general area – you might want to know how close you are to the Philadelphia Sports Teams! Even [...]

Listen With All Your Heart

I couldn’t wait to get my fingers rolling across the keyboard. I can only hope to convey what I saw today out of one outstanding Philadelphia Eagles football player to you. My lesson I continue to learn.
My family can say we “know” Hank Baskett III, of the Philadelphia Eagles football team. No, we aren’t like [...]
